Vacancy: Bicycle Mechanic – Noord-Holland

What will you do?

• Repairing and maintaining city bikes, touring bikes and e-bikes;
• Carrying out routine maintenance and safety inspections;
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues;
• Assembling, adjusting and preparing new bicycles for customers;
• Inspecting and maintaining the rental fleet of approximately 500 bicycles;
• Replacing and fitting parts and accessories;
• Advising customers on repairs and bicycle maintenance;
• Keeping the workshop clean, safe and well organised.

Who are we looking for?

You:

• Have good technical and practical skills;
• Work accurately and always keep safety in mind;
• Are able to work independently and as part of a team;
• Enjoy working on both traditional bicycles and e-bikes;
• Are customer-focused and solution-oriented;
• Can work well during busy periods, particularly in the rental season;
• Ideally have training or experience in bicycle, scooter, motorcycle or automotive mechanics;
• You speak some Dutch (minimum A2), and you are eager to speak fluent Dutch soon. You also speak English. If you also speak German, you are the ideal person to reply.
