The process of finding work
At SamenWerken MVO, we are dedicated to guiding you as effectively as possible in your search for work.
We aim to prepare you step by step for finding and keeping a suitable job. The process of finding employment takes time, effort, and commitment—from both you and us. We do our very best to take the right steps together with you.
An important part of this journey is how you present your talents, because employers want a complete picture of your skills, abilities, and interests. Together, we increase your chances of finding the right job.
1. Registration
You can easily register through our website. From that moment, you can respond to job vacancies that interest you. One of our advisors may also contact you directly to get to know you better and to help complete your profile.
2. Responding to job vacancies
When you respond to a vacancy through our website, your application first goes to one of our advisors. The advisor will personally discuss your application with you and together you’ll look at the next steps and how to present yourself in the best possible way to your potential new employer.
3. Completing your profile
Your personal profile is very important—it forms the basis for your chances of finding a suitable job. Our advisor will help you (fully) complete your profile and make sure all information is accurate and complete. This process takes time and attention, but it significantly increases your chances of success.
3a. Different target groups
We work with a wide variety of people who are looking for employment, including:
- Young people without a starting qualification
- People aged 50+
- Status holders (recognized refugees)
- Asylum seekers
- People receiving Wajong benefits (young disabled persons)
- Refugees from Ukraine
For asylum seekers, a work permit is required. Applying for such a permit is familiar territory for us. We have been experienced with these applications since 2020 and will support you throughout the process.
4. Sending your profile to the company
Once your profile is complete and both you and your advisor believe in a good chance of success, we will send your profile including your motivation to the company offering the vacancy. The company may always ask additional questions.
4a. Companies can also search
At this stage, you can respond to a company’s vacancy. Soon, companies will also be able to respond directly to your jobseeker profile through our platform. This means that finding a job will soon work both ways.
5. Response from the company
When a company responds positively to your profile, they inform us that they would like to meet you.
6. The “Nice 2 Meet You” moment
We arrange the interview at a time that works well for both you and the company. Sometimes, one of our advisors may accompany you to provide extra support.
7. After the interview
The outcome can go two ways:
- You can start working at the company, or
- You do not start (yet).
If you do start, there are two possible options:
- You are hired directly by the company, or
- You start via a temporary employment arrangement with our partner ONE People Services.
In both cases, we will support you and provide you with all the necessary information.
If you are not selected, we will provide feedback so you know what can be improved.
8a. Direct employment with the company
If you receive a contract offer, we will gladly review it with you. We explain what it says and what it means for you, so you clearly understand your position. Together with our partner ONE, we have extensive knowledge of employment contracts and all related regulations.
8b. Starting via temporary employment
If you begin through a temporary contract, we will handle the paperwork. The contract includes, for example:
- The name of the company where you’ll be working
- Your salary
- Your rights and responsibilities as an employee
We always work according to the company’s collective labor agreement (CAO) and applicable laws. Our partner ONE, who prepares the contracts, is affiliated with ABU (the Dutch Federation of Private Employment Agencies).
What makes SamenWerken MVO different?
We are not a traditional employment agency. While traditional agencies often focus on “quick availability,” we take the time to get to know you and work toward a sustainable solution.
Our approach focuses on:
- Careful development of a complete profile
- Personal guidance
- Experience with diverse target groups
- Focus on long-term, sustainable employment
At SamenWerken MVO, we don’t promise miracles — but we do promise our full commitment to helping you find a meaningful and lasting place in the labor market.
