Do you want to contribute to the safety of road users and personnel on construction and infrastructure projects? As a Traffic Controller, you ensure a safe and smooth flow of traffic at projects in and around Amsterdam. You are the point of contact for road users and colleagues on site.

About You

You are responsible, alert, and communicative. Experience as a traffic controller or in a similar position is a plus, but motivation and commitment are most important. You can work well with others, are stress-resistant, and speak sufficient Dutch to follow instructions and guide traffic.

Working as a Traffic Controller

You guide traffic at projects and road closures, ensure a safe situation for all road users and personnel, and identify potential risks. You work at various locations in and around Amsterdam and constantly coordinate with project leaders and colleagues to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• Guiding and controlling traffic flows at project locations
• Ensuring the safety of personnel and road users
• Setting up and checking traffic signs and barriers
• Reporting special circumstances and risks
• Collaborating with colleagues and project leaders for a safe working environment
